The Love of Jesus
What does the word “love” mean? We use this word reference toward a variety of things: candy, movies, family, or God. Surely we do not have the same depth of meaning in each case. What does it mean when the Bible says, “Jesus loves us”? Join Kyle Butt as he looks at the Bible’s description of Jesus’ love for mankind.
Why Is Reading the Bible So Important?
“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth” (John 17:17).
What you read impacts you. Reading the Bible on a regular and consistent basis has several benefits. The Bible shows us God’s character and provides us God’s revelation of himself to his people. In each section of the Bible, we see God’s holy, unchanging, faithful, gracious and loving character.
Reading and studying the Bible allows us to be certain of what God said. The Bible is our final authority.
